my machine shop charged me 10 bucks. i know the guy pretty well, but i cant see him giving me a $115 discount just because i bug him when i dont have anything else to do at work.

i just had my eagle crank polished, rods checked and two resized, and a valve seat replaced. $95 total! i would say they are screwin you.

i sold a brand new callies compstar crank i paid over 900 for for 850 i think. i lost my *** on that deal.

if it **** a bearing, it might be worthless...you wont know untill you mic it and see whats bad.

also depends on which crank, the Dragonslayer is much more than the other, I paid 500 bucks for My callies RACEMASTER crank used, then another 100 having it checked for straightness, and sizes then polished. The racemaster is what the dragonslayer replaced, Its a very expensive crank.
