lol cam= 400
cam swap parts= 500
92/92 = 1200
headers = 700
80 horsepower = 3000
OR
t-rex cam = 90 rear wheel for me with ls6 intake lol. 92/92 is not necessary. but if you like spending money then go for it. just think money can be placed somewhere else to be faster. being faster doesnt always take more horsepower.

You can have all the power in the world, but that weak *** 10 bolt that's putting all the power to the ground is only going to last so long.

There's your solution, for under $3000 depending on what you want to do. Just keep that link above in mind after you drop 3 grand on making the car faster and end up with a toasted 10 bolt and have to scratch your head when you don't have 3 grand anymore to buy a better rear end. LOL. Whatever you choose, good luck. That's a pretty good amount of coin... spend it wisely

You bet man. It just seems to make sense. I was in a similar situation as the OP, and thought to myself, "Hey, I'll piece together a little budget build that makes more power than what I have now and speed this pig Camaro of mine up." I started piecing things together and then suddenly realized the final link to all this power I wanted to make. That final link... a weak *** 7.5" 10 bolt rear end. Before long I was picturing myself getting half way through the race season and destroying the 10 bolt. Then having to wait for who knows how long in order to save up $2000+ for an aftermarket rear end... even complete used ones are in this range. So to hell with the idea of building more power. Now, with a bad *** rear end, near invincible, I can build hellacious power down the road and never have to worry about a 10 bolt staying together when the 3500 pound car leaves at 4000+ RPM on stickies. Glad I could help. Give Eric a call and he'll be happy to help you out. When it comes to customer service, he's tough to beat.

I would do a full suspension first including the rearend if I had it to do all over again for a 3rd time. And dump that programmer and get a real tune. All you are gonna do with that thing is lean your motor out and need to use that 3k$ just to get it started again.
