I know for a fact I could have built the biggest, nastiest, LSX car right out of the box and it still wouldn't be enough. I think most would agree.
Does anyone know the difference between the 224r and the 228r? I think I read on here it was only around 5hp.
When I was looking into mine I was told if you are torn between two cams go with the one that has the faster ramp rate. Sometimes this ends up being the "smaller" cam. It's all about what works in your setup.
I'm not sure about any of those rumors. My way of thinking is, the more lift I have on my cam,the more fuel and air I can pull in, which in turn, equals more power. Ask around, maybe some other folks will know more about the lobe pofiles.
