Sounds like a T-Rex! First one T-Rex I ever heard the car was backing off a trailer with open headers. And it set off every car alarm in the parking lot!

Yeah, it's pretty loud through the x pipe, open headers was ridiculous!

Sounds awesome! Is it on stock heads? Just curious if the T-rex had ptv issues in cam only set ups.

Well then broken rockers, lifters and the like plus smacking some pistons would probably be in here too. Look... it is! LOL

No hater here at all. In fact if I could go back I would have just attempted slapping that cam in a stock motor. People have smacked pistons though although it supposed to fit.

? You were right about not measuring, lol. but no issues, it's been ran hard the last couple of days and no problems. My buddy did it and runs a performance shop so I had enough trust in him to where everything would be fine.

On both punches, it looks like the car shifts into 1st a hair before 6k? Then in the last punch, it looks like it doesn't really start to pull with all it's potential until about 6k, then it screams to 7k? Or is it just me?

It looks like it shifts early but it's not, the stock tach can't keep up so it looks like it. The limiter is at 6600. but yes it pulls real hard around 5800-6600.

Has anyone out there put the T-Rex cam in a carbureted set up? I am looking into using the T-rex or MS4 with either the edelbrock rpm dual plane or the victor jr single plane with my mighty demon 750 carb. I have heard it will make more power and run a little smoother with this set up rather than fuel injection, that true? What manifold do you think should be used, I was leaning more towards the victor since it makes more power in the higher rpm range?
