Default in search of 400rwhp/400rwtq

i have a 2000 firehawk A4 with slp lid, LS6 intake, LT 1 3/4 primary headers, ORY, magnaflow exhaust, all egr/air removed, tuned by hinson supercars.

car dynoed at 351/367...... 95k on the dial...... i want to break the 400 mark but i dont wanna break the car.

can this be done on a mild cam(what specs?) and stock heads and keep all my driveability and air conditioning? basically i want a good idle maybe alittle lope, but i want the car to act might near stock while creepin round town... car is 99% street and weekend warrior... its basically a DD but i dont rely on it at all its just a toy i wanna keep DD ability in.

thanks fellas!

Even with an A4? Sounds a little high for such a mild cam in an auto. Sounds more doable with an M6.

Well, look what he is putting down with bolt ons in an A4 currently. I would say he has a factory freak of some sorts. Either that or the dyno is happy.

Oh ok, then that makes sense. Well, a converter is a good mod to do before jumping to a cam in an auto. Is it necessary? No. Suggested? Yes.

Those are seriously freaky bolt-on HP numbers; the intake and a good tune helped a bunch I bet.

Converter should be the first mod you do before the cam.

I have known some people to drop .7 in the 1/4 mile with a good converter. You won't get that out of a cam, especially with stock heads.
