Would this cam work for an auto with a stock stall?

I want a better cam, and was wondering if this would give me any problems. I have a 2000 WS6 with a stock A4, stock stall.
cam specs are
226/229 .575/.578 112LSA

It would suck, I drove around for a year with only a 224/224 .563/.563 114 on the stock stall and hated it. Thatcam would make the car feel like it always has a cruise control set on, use more gas trying to stay at idle, and from a stop without any gas the car would shift to 2nd. You could lower the idle to 650rpm but then it will stall getting off the gas on a gear shift or when starting a warm engine. Definately do a converter first.

To answer your question, no. That cam will more than likely try to walk through the stock stall and pull on the brakes. Anybody even considering camming a car w/ a stock stall should be looking in the lower 220's in duration, with nothing below a 113-114 LSA.
In closing, I'll add that I agree with everyone else. Put a stall in the car first.
