Default Best Cam for street

I have a 2002 Z28 with longtube headers, magnaflow catback and slp ram air kit. Its a A4 with a tune from Frost. Looking on getting a mild cam to go with my stock heads 241's. What be the best cam and stall? Must I get a stall with such a mild setup. I also understand new injectors would be recommended as well. Ok throw me your Ideas

We've done some smaller camshafts like the 220R & 224R with stock converters. Give us a call & we can get you some dyno data if that helps!!

I will definitely do that. I want just a little more out of my stock engine. In a year or two when I pay her off I will go larger and more radical. I will probably have another car then to for daily driver. Just want to wake it up a bit. Stop light to stop light fun. I will give u a call when I am not at work.

Injectors shouldn't be necessary. I run a G5X3 and there are no issues. I'm swapping heads soon, and at that point I will be changing injectors too.

I will soon find out. I am thinking of dropping the magnaflow catback and going with a TSP true dual Setup. Just a little concerned how they will meet up with the OBX headers. Headers are great, but the Y= DOG **** FIT. I like it though, because its not permanent.

I'd get the 30#s for a little headroom, peace-of-mind.

A 224 or 228R would be a solid choice. They have been proven to work well hundreds of times. Look up some of the combo's in the dyno section and drag section and you can get an idea of how the different combo's perform.

i was in the sam boat. i was looking a mild cam go with the stock 241 heads. i got with PatG and had him spec me out a custom cam from EPS.
i wanted something that would make great power under the curve and a strong TQ curve and was easy on the valave train. I'm runnig a stock LS1 with 241 heads, LS6 intake stock throttle body and MAF with LT's and SLP lid. with the cam i also went with a Circle D 3200 stall.

Here is the cam spec's 226/230 .598/.600 112LSA
PatG will be doing tune here soon.

there is a VIDEO of it in my sig just after install on the stock tune, go check it out.
