Cheater V3
Going back to April here. As promised. I got my '05 CTS-V cammed with the CheaTR cam. Didn't go with the Power Bond U/D pulley just a straight up swap and tune at CMS. Numbers were 374hp and 398tq at the rear wheels.
Since having this installed it has been much more fun to drive. MPG took a little hit but not much. Some of it may have to do with a heavier right foot? Right now the car is down as I think that I have broke a valve spring (Patriot Extreme Gold). Been on vacation and on work trip but I'll have it back on the road soon enough.
Sorry to bring the thread back to the Spring time.
Injector size recommendations? I was thinking the stockers may have been close to maxed and one clogged a little, causing lean/detonation. All other pistons looked perfect.
Holy Moly. Zombie Thread to say the least! Don't know what to tell you about injectors. I'm still running stock because I'm in Cali and I fear the CARB monster. My car is still running great on the CheaTR V3. The post I put about the valve spring last year was wrong. It was actually a broken rocker arm bearing. Got the rocker arm replaced and no problems since.
I would contact a reputable performance shop to get an idea about your injectors. As I stated in the past, I used Cunningham Motor Sports. Ryne and Mike have been up front about my questions. I'm sure they'll give you some good advice. Or if you know a good performance shop by all means hit 'em up.
Merry Christmas everyone. Let's do this again in Dec 2012, Ha!
Good luck.

I got some new ford 30lb SVO's recently, so i'll probably break in the new engine with the old injectors and throw in the 30's when i get it tuned.
