Default ls6 intake install

i just installed my ls6 intake yesterday, when i was putting the ls6 in, i noticted the small vacuum line on the back of the intake, there was nothing hooked up to that when i pulled out the stock ls1 intake...

what goes to this hookup? i didn't see any loose hoses hanging out back there so i need to know what is supposed to hook up there...

MAP sensor snaps on the top, big vacuum line is brake booster, small vacuum line is for your heater and a/c so it will change from floor-vents-defrost. Look around the back of the engine. It should be a small in diameter plastic hard vacuum line with a rubber T that presses onto the small vacuum fitting on the intake.

my a/c was removed by the previous owner, will that vacuum line still be there? i looked all over back there and saw nothing like what you described..

if i don't have that line to hook up should i cap off that connection on the intake?

i do still have all the heater stuff in the car, maybe since that line isn't there thats why it seems like my floor vents are always opened... i'll do somemore digging back there and see if i can find it, if he took that line out, where do i need to run a new one too?

With that line being off will cause it not to switch to the vents. The line is more than likely still hanging around somewhere.

The line is about 1/8" and it hard plastic

ok thanks guys, i'll get down in there and look around a little more..

with the other pictures that i posted, how bad is it that everything was so dirty under the stock intake? is that something that is normal or with all the build up and gunk under there could there be something wrong?
