will lq9 and lq4 heads both lower compression?

If I install lq4 or lq9 heads on my LS6 motor will they both drop the compression to around 9.5:1?

The lq4 and lq9 should have the same 317 casting. The lq4 gets its lower compression from the dish in the pistons. The lq9 has flat tops. Just make sure the casting # is 317 and you'll be good to go.
