Default Cam questions

I just purchased a TSP Custom 224R Cam: 224/224, .581"/.581", 114 LSA with pushrods and double springs. I bought that cam because everyone scared me with the emissions talk. I have since found out that around here they do a OBDII and a visual and that is it. My question is if TSP will let me trade my cam in for a "larger" cam should I or should I stick with what I have? The cams I am looking at are TSP Custom 228R Cam: 228/228, .588"/.588", 112 LSA and a TSP Custom 231/231 Cam: 231/231, .595"/.595", 112 LSA.
My mods are SLP Lid, GMS MAF, HPP3(soon to be dyno tuned), Pacesetters with ORY, Yank with a low stall(not sure of the stall but I think it is around 2800-3000), shift kit. I think that is it.
What would you guys do in this situation?

What exactly does theOBDII inspection entail?

Plug into the diagnostic port and search for codes. That's it.

On second thought, the 224 is a great cam. It'll do great with stageII heads also.

keep the 224, its a good cam.

The more I think about it, I think I will keep the cam that I have. It's just that I haven't ever had a car with a cam that had a lope to it. I thought it would be cool. I think the 231/231 cam would be too much for my car. I don't have enough motor for that cam. What do you think the differences would be in RWHP for the 224/224 to the 228/228?

realistically not much, and mostly in peak power anyway. jason had the overlay of a TR224, TR227, and TR230 and there was only a 10rwhp difference between the 224 and the 230 and about 5rwtq difference. the 227 fell in the middle.
