Sounds like the most difficult part of changing the springs has been taken care of, as the heads aren't underneath the cowl. Since you'll have optimal space, any valvespring tool will do. Autozone/Napa, etc should have a couple different options.
By the way, I found a decent one off ebay about six months ago. Worked well during my cam swap.

I think you cna rent (for free) the "C" clamp type from Autozone. Whatever you do, don't use the type that has the two hooks and the **** on top where it grabs the coils and compresses the spring. This type of compressor can scratch the spring and with aftermarket performance springs this is something best not done.

Would the Tim's Tool work with the heads off? It's just going to push the valve open. On the car, the head bolts hold it down and the piston stops the valve. You'll probably have to clamp the heds on a table. The clamp style tool blocks the valve from opening so it just compresses the spring.
