Hmm Ive never really heard much about the Typhoon. Im pretty happy with my LS6 manifold though. Only paid $175 and it really woke the car up.

I did some digging and found this thread.

Daily Driven = 224 cam. No bigger than 228 in my opinion. Who cares if you peak with 10-20 hp more with a bigger cam, the driveability different won't be worth it. 224 is a decent size cam.

i honestly wouldnt go smaller than a 228 cam. i have never rode in a cammed car. the cam i am running is a 230/227 112 LSA on my auto and my car drives very much like stock...seriously!! It is definitely all in the tune. i actually plan on stepping up to a TSP 233/239 cam just because my car isnt a daily driver and i dont think i would have any problems running a cam that size... honestly, i would go something along the lines of the TSP Torquer 2 232/234 as far as daily driver.

Ive driven a much bigger cammed car with stock driveability. 230s duration can have stock driveability with a proper tune.

Default Cam

94lt105 Did you end up going with the cam in your sig ?

The TSP Tsunami ( 235/240, .654"/.609", 111 LSA)

Let us know what hp it made and if you like the way it drives .

Here's a 228/232 Cam only with untouched 241 heads and did 424 on the dyno .
