I have his 228/230 cam. Best pass so far was 11.41 @ 119.25, 3700# race weight, and +800 DA. My best trap speed with this cam is 119.84.

theres no doubt about it his cams and combos make power, plus he was very helpful and informative on the phone when i called today.

the cam he recommended to me was the 228/230 .581/.595 112 LSA with +2 or +4 advance

im very interested in possibly swapping it out

ive turned 118 mph with the combo i have now (stock rear and gears) with a 3420 raceweight and +400 DA. im headed back next saturday for times with some more bolt ons ive added (asps and new exhaust) hoping for 120.

do you guys think it would be worth it over the 224/224 .581/.581 112 LSA 0 advance i have now???

Curious what heads, LSA, and gear you're running. I'm going with a close setup in a 3100# FRC C5. Good #s

Josh, are you ready to give up those cam specs yet?

Lmfao, if they only knew.. Guys, Damians cam is no big superstick .. Most of the FMS off the shelf cams would make the same power IN THE PROPER COMBO........

My cam is nothing special. Just a nice lil recipe that Alan & I cooked up, and she works

ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING you get from FMS is going to make power......PERIOD

That's exactly why I'm so persistant. I don't think you need a huge cam to go fast, and would like a smaller cam that still runs. When I swap cams, a Futral cam will be going back in.

I agree that you don't need a big *** cam to make power. a good matched heads and cam package will make very strong numbers

Do one of you guys have a dyno graph of the FMS 228/230? How is the curve compared to the 224?
