I have been debating back & forth what to run in my T/A WS.6.
I want it to be powerful but streetable, This is my everyday driver as well. The engine is stock @ the moment.
What I came up with for the Bottom-end
Polish Stock Crank
Block Honed
Lunati ProMod Rods
Mahle Pistons
Top-End
Trick Flow 215 Cylinder Heads
Texas-Speed 228rCamshaft
LS6 Intake Manifold (Maybe FAST 90?)
Stock TB Ported & Polished (FAST 90mm)
LT Headers (No Cats)
I don't know about exhaust, True dual? Single?
How much Power do you believe I would make?

looks good!
you might want to consider throwing in some rod bolts... (installing the lunati bolts?)
A wild guess I'd say you would be anywhere between 450-500 at the wheels... :dunno:

- any plans for a bigger oil pump?
- timing set?
also, are you pulling the block out? If so...
- Since you're replacing the pistons and depending on how many miles are on the car I would consider boring it to straighten out the cylinders. Any machine shop can take some measurements to see if you should bore it out or not.
- new cam/crank/rod bearings...

I say you would be closer to the 425-450 range with that set-up.
Exhaust is a personal choice on sound. If you do Duals you can get away with 3", if you do single go for a cutout on the I-pipe or get a 4" catback (Mufflex, etc.) What LT's will you be running?
Aftermarket rods will come with rod bolts, don't worry about that part.
Is it A4 or M6? Stock rear or 12 bolt or 9 inch?
Also you would want to hone the cylinder not bore them unless you want to go with larger pistons or a stroker kit. There is a difference between the two. Unless your cylinder walls are scored, rough or untrue, it should not be needed.
I would deff. do a ported oil pump and LS2 timing set for insurance.
As for heads you might want to look at the AFR 205's. They are comparable and have better flow down low to produce better tq. for a DD. Where you will be in the power band 95% of the time anyways,.
