Im looking for first hand knowledge of Patriot Stage 3 LS6 heads. Im looking at different packages right now and these and the PRC 5.3 stage 2.5 seem to be the heads within my price range (1500 or less new). I found some older threads on here through google with some complaints about quality, but it seemed to be a lot of "twice removed" hearsay type stuff.

yes...nothing specific yet but it will definitely be done with a head swap

I have no opinion on the Patriot heads because I have no 1st hand experience with them but I have a question.It sounds like these are for a stock cube LS1? Do you know that stage 3 heads(with 2.08"intake valves)are for 4" and larger bore engines?You should use stage 1 or 2 heads with a stock 3.90"bore.Just pointing that out if you didn't know and if you have a bigger engine then go stage 3.

I was not aware of that. Thanks for the info! I read somewhere the LS6 stage 3's were comparable in performance to stage 2.5 5.3's - guess they're a little different afterall, huh?
