Default Best Head/Cam setup

Hello all, I just bought a 2002 Trans Am WS6. These mods will be later on, but what is the best Head and Cam setup? What heads would go best with the TRex Cam? Thanks in advance for any input.

your arent going to get a lot of responses with such a generalized statement. we need to know more about the car, what you want to do with it, if its an A4 or M6, but I will go ahead and tell you not to get swept up in the "donkey dick" cam hype, look more into something that will work with what you are doing with the car, and search button is key in your situation

How about not posting unhelpful and obvious statements. Everyone else commented and that was enough.

docta,
I can understand what you are saying about unhelpful comments but even in his own way he was trying to help you, because you are going to hear that response a lot, we all started new somewhere, so dont take offense to it, its all in the research man, and more details from you will keep responses like that to a minimal

Look n00b, it is helpful. if its obvious, then do it! this site has hundreds of thousands of threads posted, so chances are, EVERY question you could ask has already been asked. the search function would have tons of results for your question, which is why i suggested you use it (and not get "unhelpful" posts). ignorance isnt a good thing, which is why im enlightening you. and the 2nd helpful thing i said "call a sponsor" would be the best choice. they can answer any and all questions you have quickly. look at all those on the side and call some --------------->

next time, think about what has been said before speaking. i was actually helping you...

Lots of Great sponsors on here that can really help you in your goals. Texas speed, tony from AFR, late model racecraft, vengeance racing just to name a few. There is no best heads/cam because everybody has their own opinions on what works best for them. Some like low end power, some like high RPM screamers. Some setups are for street and some setup for the strip. Look at people sigs and research them to see what fits you.

Oh and the TREX cam is a little big for a stock 346 just my opinion

When you are actually ready to buy, call one of the sponsors to the right. These threads pop up all the time by people not buying anytime soon. Research while your saving and when you get the cash, call a sponsor to help you with your setup.
