Smile Yes, Another head question..

After doing alot of research I figured my next upgrade for my 02 ws6 should be the heads.. Considering im on a budget ive narrowed it down to getting some 243/799s. Does it matter which vehicle the heads come from before i begin my search?

Any input in what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I found a set on craigslist and was wondering if any good for my setup. Would there be any fitment issues? My cam is a tsp 233/239 .595/.603 113.

^^ Heads I found, and ofcourse i will find out who did the milling before hand
i think goes in internal, but for what its worth 243's will fit on an ls1 id just recommend using a different gasket

If you find true LS6 heads from a Z06 Vette, it'll have the sodium filled lighter valves. Otherwise, any heads from a LS2 will work fine. It's almost cheaper just to buy already worked heads from Texas Speed (LS6 stage 2.5) or from Patriot than it is to find a used pair of heads and then have them machined properly.

if you find a pair with really low miles and the valves don't leak ,put some good springs on them.you can find some for sale at the corvette forums for $400.

Yes your spings will work, how many miles are on them? 243/799s are all the same cast.
