Why don't you want to install Lt's? There one of the most cost effective and necessary upgrades...

I am interested to see what kind of power/track times you put down with a cam and stock exhaust. I say go for it. Whats the worst case? You spend the money get close to 400rwhp then spend another 400 bucks for LT/ORY and make 430hp. Its your ride and I am very interested in seeing the outcome! Either way your going to need a tune twice. After the LT/ORY install then again after the heads/cam. Or after the heads/cam then again when/if you install LT/ORY...

If you think that an ls6 intake and torquer II will give you 60-70 hp with stock manifolds, you are on crack... plain and simple. I had a torquer II and liked it alot, car ran strong with cheapo patriot stage 1's, but having a nice set of headers helped it out quite a bit. As stated, that particular cam wants headers, period.

X2. Sometimes you have to let people make the mistake so they can learn from it afterwards. Not sure why the OP won't take the advice of others that have been there and done that. To be honest 4.10 gears should be added before the cam because he's got a M6 car. 3.42's would work with some of the other cams suggested, but with the T2 I would go with 4.10's.
