Default Natural Gas (CNG) LQ4 - What is different?

There are quite a few CNG LQ4s in the yards out there. Does anyone know if there is anything different about those motors other than the induction and intake?

If not, I might go for one of those first. Every Natural Gas and Propane engine I have ever seen was spotless like new inside even after tens of thousands of miles.

I would beware of an engine that ran off of propane. In Arizona where I am from about 10years ago they had a propane tax credit program. Alot of these engines now are having problems with the valves in the heads. If you do get one be sure to do a compression test.

Ah, good to know. I may just avoid them. I really don't need any unnecessary expense on this project.
