Hey im sintalling my TR 224 today and i just wanted to see what you guys think i will get power wise? Im also putting on an underdrive pulley as well. But other then that it will remain the same as whats in my sig.

Im hoping for 390's. Check out my sig and tell me what you think. Thanks guys.

Not really sure what you will get power wise. I am sure that after reading your threads on the Cheater V3 that I won't be getting that cam. What is wrong with that cam anyway?

The Cheater V3 has more exhaust duration and more intake and exhaust lift than the 224. I don't see where it'll make as much as you think. I had the TR224 for a couple of years and loved how it drove. I have a 04 A4 GTO which dynos lower than the M6, but even with a ported FAST intake (no UDP), my best numbers were 375 HP. The pulley will give you 8-10 HP, but still, I bet you're short of 390 HP.

Nothing wrong with the Cheater V3. I just wanted something a little bigger. The cheater took away a lot of my bottom end. Im trying to get that back along with keeping my top end that i have now.

Just going to a tighter LSA should help, so what LSA did you go with, a 114, 112, or lower ?

Well so much for installing my cam today. So Thunder Racing said it would be here no later then today. Well checked with fed ex and they shipped it out late and it wont be here until tuesday. Now my car is torn completely apart waiting for the cam that was suppose to be here today. Ive been talking with TR about getting it here by monday because i go back to work tuesday and i kind of need my car. Lets see what happens.

That's to bad, but just don't get in to big of a hurry and f@@k something up, you need to be able to go at a pace your comfortable with. IMO, just in case I'd try to find another means to work, friends, family, or if needed a dirt cheap rental car.

Weigh you options, but it might be worth it if you need the car by tuesday.

Im not paying that. Hell no. I didnt screw up the shipping. If they dont make it right i will put my car back together and return the camshaft to them when it gets here. Theres a lot of other companys that sell LS1 cams i can buy from.

That's totally understandable, that's why I never make plans to install parts until after I know for a fact the parts are "out for delivery " on the day I want to get started installing them.
Good luck, and keep us posted on the outcome.

You could always just do a custom 224(.609" XFI)/224(.600" XFI), 112 lsa,cam from TSP.
