Never had a problem with Thunder Racing getting my parts to me. Have you tried calling them? They have alway been very helpful when I call. They even got my wheels shiped to me fast after hurricane katrina hit them.

I'm not sure if this is the case but alot of times they get these cams dropped shipped from comp. It might not be a stock item and they send the order to comp and then comp ships it to you. It may or may not be their fault entirely. I've been dealing with Thunder for years and have always beens please with their service.

I've ordered from TR twice and never had a problem.

I also never tear my engine down until I get all the parts in hand.

I've bought stuff from them since 2002 and never had a problem. Wasn't there a hurricane zipping up the Gulf this past week?

Same here, ordered from them several times without issues. Sometimes parts are not in stock, you may need to call and find out what happened.

I hope you've tried contacting them through normal means before posting on here w/your complaint. Even contacting them through here (PMs) typically could/should solve your issues. Posting b!tch here w/out contacting the seller usually doesn't help situations...

I didnt run and hide. Trying to get my cam here. Talked to Gene and he claimed it was fedex that was the problem and fedex said it was TR that shipped it out to late and without the proper paper work (whatever that means). My problem is that i was told it would be here friday, and no later then saturday. Now Gene tells me the only way i can get it here sooner then tuesday is if its expedited. Well im not paying for there screw up. I dont care who screwed up whether its TR or Fedex, i bought the cam through TR and if something happens you take care of your customer.

. . . . so. . . . you're getting screwed because a part didn't show YET? Not a matter of waiting for 2 weeks after being told it would be there. . . or getting the wrong part?

You're bitching on the internets because a shipment which has been shipped through a third part is late?

No I'm bitching because I was told a part would be here by a certain date when I needed it and now its 4 days late. Don't promise a customer something if you don't know or you can't do it.

I have had to learn patience. I am 38 and I can say that i have had my run in with a few part stores on the net and other wise. The latest was a local part store. They told me I was gonna get some parts I ordered on one day, had my friends shop open to go in and do the work myself because he was going to be out of town. The store was late and then I had to pay some one because my buddies shop started a project on a Lightning 1066 rwhp now that is done.

I was livid and I had to swallow hard walk in very professional tell the manager the inconvenience they put me in. How much money I had to pay extra out of pocket because of their inability to get my parts when they where promised, and that I was very disappointed hence they had always given me great service. Apart from my military discount I get there, I also got another 10% on top of that returned to my CC.

Honey attracts more bees than vinegar. While bashing them on here will get you emotional satisfaction they will read this and have nothing to offer because they are already in a bad spot light so why the need to make it better with out given the chance by you the customer.

Good Luck to you I hope this little bit helps in future endeavors.

P.S. " I had to come out of pocket 200 dollars and I only got back 60 but they still have my business."

I have yet to have a problem with them yet... If there has been an issue it has NOT been there fault, it is getting the manufacturer to ship it out (a specialty item, not run of the mill) Good group of guys, especially john..

I dont drink coffee. Thanks though man. Im not freaking out either or need to calm down. Apparently no one on this site does a customer service job.

When i ordered the part i said i need it by a certain day. If i have to pay a little extra to get it by then i have no problem doing so. I was told no regular ground will be there when you need it.

And low and behold its 4 days late. Thats why im frusterated.
