Default Affordable stroker?

After going through all of the vendors sights, the most affordable 382 stroker kit I could come up with totaled in at $1920. This is using a Eagle crank, Crower rods, and Diamond pistons. Does any one know of, or can any sponsoring vendors come up with a "complete" budget stroker package? I figured some may be throwing these together by now, but I haven't seen any. Any thoughts?

Are you wanting a complete package as in a rotating assy. with bearings, rods, etc., or are you looking for a turn-key engine? Let me know, and I'll get you a price.

WOW, that is pretty cheap for a stroker engine. Was that assembled or just parts to you? Give me a call and I can see what we can do.

Thanks,

Stroker and affordable are an oxymoron.

Now add in gaskets, bearings, timing chain, cam, springs/ retainers, machine work, head and main bolts/studs, balancing, and assembly. As you can see there is a lot more to it than just a rotating assembly. I am not included things like new heads, exhaust or intake either, or general bolt ons. Costs get out of control pretty quickly. Then you have to think about how the drivetrain will hold up to the new power.

Don't forget some of the custom pistons will cost you a little more if you want a higher compression ratio, balancing will add several extra hundred, machine work will be more money, bearings will add up to a little more money too.

I've already got everything except for short block parts. Heads, cam, 12-bolt, FAST intake.... it's all here. I'm just looking for the rotating assembally. I will need the bearings/rings and such, along with some good rod/main bolts. I figure $1900 ain't to bad for a rotating assembally, but didn't know if anyone had put together a "package", that might knock a little more off. The prices I got where from buying one part here and another there. You don't get much discount like that.

$4599 Stroker Short Block Assembled

$7299 Stroker Long Block Assembled

I think the short is a pretty good deal all things considered.
