I had a thread going about this a couple of weeks ago. There were quite a few guys that were running a stock chain on their H/C motors and some were even spraying on top of that. None of them had any failures or problems to report, so i will probably go with a stock chain as well when i do my install.

LG says they use the stock chain in most G5X2 cam installs. 232/240 .595/.609
I will most likely be going with the stock chain when I install my G5X2.

I'm now going to sit back and watch all Rollmaster Double Roller Chain fans chime in and turn this into a flamewar .

I haven't heard of any failures either, but if I were going to do a cam change you are right there anyways. You should change it over to the double roller chain. That's called cheap insurance.
