Got the car down to Masport around 10AM and dan made a few pulls.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HMXhbwbceY
After Dan was finished, the car put down 411 weather corrected wheel HP on a mustang dyno through a ford 9" rear. He said that some of the power is lost through the 9" (around 20-30hp). He also said i would gain more if i were to upgrade to a fast 90/92 intake and TB. Overall im happy with my decision to bring the car down to Masport, Dan is a super nice guy and very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a tune in the state of florida

You lose that much horsepower thru a 9inch?wow won't be going to a 9 inch rear for awhile.

I highly doubt 20-30 horsepower is lost due to the 9" rear alone.. maybe the combination of the Mustang dyno AND the 9".. probably 10-12 lost in the 9" and the rest from the dyno.. no way your losing 20-30 from a 9" alone

The 9 inch is about 3% less efficient than the 12-bolt, which itself is about 2% less efficient than the 10-bolt. 5% of 411hp is 20.55hp loss
