Default What to do?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I hope its ok here:

Friday I am getting everything in my sig installed and tuned, but while im there I am caught between doing a cam install or doing a torque converter instead. The car will rarely be raced, it is a daily driver and I just like having a lot of power to play with. As far as the torque converter goes if i go that route I have already decided on Circle D after reading some of the reviews and speaking with Chris. My question for yall is which route should I go? I wanted to get opinions because yall know a lot more about these cars then I do.

Thats what I was thinking, especially since I have the Ls1 intake still. I don't think a cam would help near as much with that restrictive intake and I dont have the money right now to do Cam with an install and a new intake.

my vote is for dope. I drive mostly in the city and converters over 2500 kill mileage there. big cam will require a converter and also hurt your mileage. So i say *** all that **** and spray.

I've looked at nitrous also, but I am still not sure on it, just because I drive the car 80 miles a day (highway) and I have to make sure that it is dependable. I know nitrous won't hurt the car, but im afraid that with my luck I will spray once and blow the motor apart. haha.

I would go for the stall 1st. Then the cam. Get a 3200-3500 stall.

Stall before anything else. A I have a 3400 and I am doing fine with city and highway driving. The cam I have a custom and fairly aggressive my advise is this if you are going anything up to an MS3 style 237/242 a 3400 stall is fine. If you are going something like an MS4 239/242 or bigger then a 3600 stall is a must. Me you I would do a custom grind A4s are very touchy when it comes to lobe separation and while many off the shelf cams do work great with M6 a little massaging of lobe separation *s can make a real difference in lobe events there fore making a difference in your performance in an A4.

Also look at EPS lobes they deem to be making great power through A4's good luck.

I don't have any particular cam in mind, I am pretty new to Ls1's and with my third gens I never did any major work so I dont know much about Cams. From what everyone has said, I think I am going to do the stall. Also as far as gas mileage, I don't do too much city driving and when I do a few mpg's difference wont bother me.... Who cares about gas mileage when you drive a car like these?
