Default 370 cid

hey guys, i've been doing some research looking on forums and what not. well ive came to find out that for what im trying to do in my budget a 370 is they way to go.
Can some guys with these motors give me some input as to how much you like them, and what all does it require you to change in order for running this motor on a 4th gen f-body, mean will my factory pcm and wiring harness work. things like that etc....

everything will bolt up from your ls1 to the 370. and no mods have to be made to use the 370 also. id do a pat g custom cam vs. the ms3 when you do build it though.

i like the idea of a 370 also. i mean, 24 more cubes, iron block. and a 4in bore to go with it. i think when my motor goes im going this route. so my h/c/i setup will swap over, then someday go big with some L92 heads.

basically a h/c/i setup on a stock shortblock wont work so great on say a 408...it'll just choke it back. but i think itd be a decent swap, expecially budget minded.

Everything will switch over no problem. We have had pretty good luck with the MS3 on large shots of nitrous.

What kind of power do think a ms3 in a 370 could put down? lets say with a fast 92 and prc stg 3 ls6's

You can look at the thread in my sig for some details and pictures. You'll have to drill and tap one hole in the block for the alternator bracket if I remember correctly.

depends on compression and other factors etc but I think 475 rwhp 425 tq should be pretty easily attainable

this is optional too if I'm not mistaken. Isn't there 2 holes pre-existing in the 370 block, but 3 on the 346? I've heard of guys just running the 2 holes with no problems

You're right, I had to go look back in my thread . I've been running just the two bolts for a while and haven't had any problems at all.
