How can I tell if I have Sodium Filled valves on my 243's?

Depends on what they came off of. The 243's came on the GTO's, CTS-V's, and ZO6's.
If I'm not mistaken the 04-05 CTS-V & 02-04 ZO6 had those valves.

if you are able to mesure the valves they will be longer than the regular ls1 valves because of the smaller base circle of the LS6 cam the valves had to be longer to compensate because the same pushrods were used , all you need to know is the length of the stock ls1 valve , i cant find the specs but i do have a set of ls1 heads on a short block that i am about to get to for my truck , if you dont find that info i can check because i am going to take it apart anyways , i am new to the system and wow lots of info here, eric

An LS6 intake valve weighs approximately 74 grams; exhaust 67 grams. These weights were determined by weighing groups of four on a postal scale.
