I am swapping a lQ4 into my 73 camaro. Converting to a carb intake. I accidentally wrecked the threads in one of the mounting holes in the head. Plan to fix the head with a helicoil. My question is do the mounting holes pass into the coolant passages or the oil passages in the head? Don't want to remove the head to do the repair but I definitely don't want chips dropping down onto the lifters.
