Default lingenfelter gt1-1 rocks the ls1!!!!!!

i have been running my lingenfelter gt1-1 for over a year and a half and it is an awesome cam with a pretty radical idle. i made 473 hp and 434 ft/lb on the dyno. my mods are patriot stage two ls6 heads 59cc chamboer with 2.055 int. and 1.575 ex. valves. also run full underive pulleys 1 3/4 slp headers, through an offroad slp y into 3 inch straight exhaust. also have yella terra 1.7 rockers, fast 92/92 ported, and a tnt f-2 nitrous setup. these numbers were made on motor only no spray and i could not be happier.

the specs on the cam are 229/242 duration and .631 lift on both int. and ex. sides with a 114.5 intake centerline. yea i think it is definately a cam that should be discussed more and i have the numbers to prove it lol

i would also like to add that i did not have to fly cut my pistons like lingenfelter suggested but i will say that my ptv is very close lol. also i rev this cam to 7200 rpm all the time and have never had an issue.

on my old setup with a 224 228 cam with .598 int .603 ex with 112 lsa i only dynoed at 434 and 398 with the same heads and intake and all the only changes i made when i put in the gt1-1 is i ported my fast 92 myself and added yella terra ultralite rockers other than that all mods were exactly the same. so say i gained 8-10 hp with the rockers and 8-12 by porting the fast roughly, i still gained anywhere from 20-30 rwhp over my old cam. the cam is very streetable it only has 6* of overlap but the idle is super nasty. tune plays in as one of the biggest factors in streetability but overall imho this cam is awesome. LINGENFELTER all the way. hot rod mag did an article on this specific cam a few years back so you should be able to google it and find it... they picked up over 100 bhp on a 5.3 with just this cam swap and headers

I just ordered this cam for my 2000 ls1 Camaro. I'm going to swap my TCI 4k stall for a Circle D Multi 5c 4k stall, up my headers to 1 7/8 Speed Engineering headers, swap my 3.73s to 4.10, and swap my stock ls1 heads to hand ported 243 heads (2.02/1.58). I'm running an LS6 intake also. My heads currently check in at 63.5 cc. I plan to swap to an 80 psi injector later to run e85 and spray 150 through a 78mm Dyno Tune plate. My question is, should I mill them more?
