Thanks for the feedback guys. Looks like I will just replace it with a factory pump. So would it be a good idea to run that Oil Pump Pickup Tube Girdle that was linked up above by WYATT? http://www.brphotrods.com/mm5/mercha...Category_Code=
There are MILLIONS of the LS based engines on the road everyday without one from the factory.
If you bent the pickup tube it would probably help force it to fit but if assembled correctly how can it move?
