Default Underdrive Pulley Kit???

I was told that the SLP Underdrive pulley kit can gain 12-15 hp. My question is that to the wheels or off the motor? I am looking for easy ways to pick up extra power but I want to know if the $200 bucks is worth spending on this upgrade.

UD pulleys typically pick up about 8 hp to the ground. They are a pretty good mod for the money. Let us know if you need one. We have several options that will get you fixed up! Pricing is hard to beat as well!

8rwhp or 10hp, it is worth about a tenth at the track though. Thread should be in external though.

I will mention that with the SLP pulley, it does have a SFI rating and has a LARGE lip that does keeps from throwing belts. I still run a stock tensioner.

Funny. The guy at vector motorsports who dynos and tunes my car told me he dyno alot of the pullys out. I guess they did some pully dyno testing one day since it's his shop and dyno. He told me none really showed power on HIS mustang dyno but one did gain 3hp. I have the asp pully and i had the slp pully,I sent the slp back. the asp pully is much lighter and will free up some mass and make the car spin up a lil quicker. I have ran asp pullys on my ls1 and ls2 stroker with no troubles running close to 9's on it. The up side, lighter weight, car spins lil faster and gaines in the 1/4mi about one tenth. Down side.......can't think of one.

There definetly worth the money but you migh try other places becasue ive seen them go for about 90 bucks, but regarding the mustang dynos, they read 10 to 15 % down on horsepower
