Default 7.40 or 7.35 pushrods?

Trying to get more insight on this preload deal. Im going to run TEA 1.5s milled .005 for cleanup, X1, stock gaskets, and comp r lifters. Im running 7.4s with my cam only set up now and have been told this will work with the new set up. Ive also been told by a close friend who's opinion I trust to at least run 7.35 or less to ease the preload on the comp r's which dont require much at all. Does any one that has a similar set up and have any info on thiers? Thanks, Jason

The 7.4s are e way to go up to a .35 thou mill
Most aftermarket cams have a smaller base circle than the stocker anyway.
Atleast thas what I have been told by people

With the CompR's you will be much closer on the preload with the 7.35's. You may have to shim from there.
