Default Camaro acting wierd???

Ok I changed the plugs and wires, rechecked them all 3 times so im sure they're gapped right and plug wires are in all the way also, changed oil because i had synthetic 5w-30 changed it to gtx high milage 10w-40 since i had what i believe a lifter noise, car has been filled with unleaded fuel since i bought it 3 months ago

Car feel slow and heavy on low rpms, steering wheel feels somewhat heavy too and im not sure if its just my imagination anymore since my dad drove it and said it felt fine. Anyways, I have done almost the complete tune up

plug and wires
fuel filter
oil change
air filter
changed the serpentine belts

so im not sure if it has just been the gas since today i just changed to premium gas and put some STP fuel injector so ill hope it was just the gas, not sure what else to check, I have no codes or any really rough idle so not sure but im sure there is something wrong

this is a video of how its sounds (NOTE: not my car just sounds the same)

That doesn't sound like engine knock from low octane/bad gas. Sounds more mechanical. If your car is automatic, I'd check to see if your torque converter bolts are tight.

^^^Thats piston slap common to ls1 between my friends and I we have owned 5 fbodys 3 out of the 5 sound just like that one wasnt quite as bad and the 98 was the quietest I'd look elsewhere as that sounds "normal" for an ls1

Just saw this and its most likely your issue if there is one. These cars NEED 91 or better octane to prevent pre detonation in the cylinders if regular fuel is used the computer will retard timing which will cut power to preserve engine life. Ive had to put 87 in my car once or twice and yes it will feel down on power...

could be... but a knock sensor or any of the above should throw a code. the o2's are a wear item and are good for abt 65k then they are recommended to be replaced as they get a little lazy so if u have some miles on em it wouldnt hurt it to change em

It's probably the gas and now the computer probably has to relearn the timing curve a little bit with the higher octane.... But ya at 98k I'd do the o2 sensors. I see you have plans for lt's in the future if thats the case I suggest you get the corvette rear o2's they have about 18" more wire because if you do get headers you will need the extra length to reach the headers.

This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 10 years or 120,000 miles (193,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer.

Copy and paste from GM SI

Most of the time the O2 sensors can be graphed and if they in the right ranges then they are ok unless there is any physical damage. B1 went out on mine but it set a DTC and i just replaced it after work one day. BUT now with 142,000 on it the other one is bad, HEADERS!
