help got a question about ls1 oil pump

help got a question about ls1 oil pump So im about to swap in a cam in camaro here shortly and today i tore apart a 5.3. And where the pickup tube bolts to pump its in the very back and a mfer to get. Does the oil pan have to be dropped? And is the ls1 goin to be the same way or is the bolt connecting those two together in the front and not in the back? And if they are the same whats the best way to get it out and do a new pump bc i have one and was wanting to throw it in while i was at it. But it has been rebuilt not long ago anf still has good pressure. Any help will be appreciated thanks

Ok thanks. And how should i tighten it back up? U know dealing with all the alignment crap. Do the pan then frnt cover? And the pan gasket shuld be ok to reuse right?
