01ss - You are obviously a guy that has a lot of knowledge on GenIIIs but I surf here a lot and can't recall the last time you wrote anything complimentary.

Actually smarty pants, I was asking an honest question. If you must know I'm doing a similar combo and was wondering if it would be wrong to say its "cam only" I don't think it would be. Why go into frivolous details? They were stock heads on lots of cars, trucks even.

From page 2 of this thread. You don't surf so good

Some people you don't know where they are going with their thrown together parts list. I think you will enjoy this combo

So I made a could passes tonight. I couldn't hook at all and spun every pass but I was trying to baby my 10 bolt with 4.10s. Not to mention my clutch pedal was sitting on the floor a few passes. Excuses excuses.

Anyways I went 12.56 @ 113.62 with a terrible 1.94 60'. DA was around 2300 with a slight head wind. I weighed my car 3580 with me in it. Not sure if the scale was off or not.
I think with some basic suspension mods I should be able to cut better a 60'

Yeah I do. Like I said, was trying to keep the ten bolt from grenading. 12's out here is actually really fast. I beat a couple of base coupe corvettes. one of my buddys had a 230/232 cam on a 111 and he ran 12.70 with a 1.9 60'

With a couple suspension parts I will be low 12's. Rear and few lbs off and it should go 11.80's.

I know another guy who has a C5 Z06 383 with a big cam and the most he ever got out of it was 11.60 with a 1.70 or high 1.6.

I don't do any port work if that's what your asking? and mine weren't ported at all.

The NHRA correction factor for Las Vegas gets you about .2 at sea level (.983 multiplier).
