Something is awry. I went 11.83 @ 116 in a 6 speed car that was cam only, made 400/370 to the tires on a dynojet. His car should be faster, no doubt.

On the other hand, I really think the 3.23s are hurting you as well.

Had a tune? I saw you said dyno'd, but dyno isn't practical for tuning other than a max #. Street tune and response tuning is better.

Good luck.

That's about right for an a4 car. They always trap 3-4mph lower than a m6 car but make it up on the front end...

Ya...kinda. not that bad of a 60ft for the 3.23 gears I'd think. 60ft does a lot for ET. MPH wise, stock weight, People expect miracles too often.

I know a guy with an F-14 that was running 11.7's cam only who beat my 346 H/C 90/90 EVERY time when all I could pull was low 12's.... But most F-14 cars don't run that... On paper I was superior but not where it counted... I think this guys time is about right for the AVERAGE car. A lot of times you see posted on here are exceptional for the mods but not a true average....

Man, now u guys got me wondering about what im gonna run when i get back from afgan. before i left i went from a 3.90, to a 4.10 rear gear and did an F13 cam from futral. Before cam and with 3.90s, FLT level 4 trans, SS4000, heavy *** 18.10.5 C5 Z06 wheels with MT 315s and all the basic suspension mods, TA, LCAs, PHB, Sub frames ect, car went 12.2 @109. I was hopin for an 11.8-11.9 now. I had it all the work done at VA speep, as far as the cam tune and gear swap and it was all spot on but i didnt get to track it before i delpoyed. When i get home ill be running bigs and littles though, so that should help. Sorry for the hijack, good luck with the hnt for snake eyes, i feel ya. Oh and with the stall and gears i did 390/385, figure that would be around 400/400 with a manual!

Z28s aren't heavier. As matter of fact it's the lightest of all v8 fbodies along w/ the formulas.

With me in my car at 3350#, and bolt-ons only, I also turned in a 12.16.

It can be done!

i'm surprised nobody has asked why he isn't dynotuned with larger injectors to help out those better flowing heads and the cam. for stock heads the stock injectors work good but when you do h/c you need to up the injector and get a good spot on tune.

a buddy of mine with a full bolt ons 01 WS6 and a torquer 2 cam went 11.5X and he was makin 407rwhp and 373 rwtq, his gears were 3.73 and his stall was a 4000

Cool glad to see you get a better time, Because was going to say more gear, your car i think has more in it. I ran a 11.70 at 115 with a hotcam but had a 1.60 60ft 6 speed car and is 3380 race weight which helps me out greatly. Of course a better 60 would lead you better times so i would work on that a 1.71 is still good.
