Any one have any idea how much power I should pick up over my tr224 with this cam. Im still a bit worried I didn't go big enough to be worth the change. But pat g speced this size for the rpms I want to turn.

If I had to guess a number I would say maybe 15 at the rear wheels. You will def have more power in the upper end over the 224.

If I would have saw this thread earlier I would have suggested a Futral cam but its hard cause they won't win the popularity contest around here. If you can't reach them by phone its cause they are busy working on cars so just email them.

Good luck with the cam and post vids and results asap.

I have a Futral custom cam in my stock bottom end, H/C/I, full weight 2002 Z28 and went 10.90@123mph with a stalled auto and 4.11 gears. Futral can be a bit cocky at times but knows his ****!!

i Like what I read about the futral cams and when I could get a hold of them on the phone they where helpful. I just decided to go with the EPS cam because pat g has a great rep too and the EPS lobes are getting alot of good feedback too. In the end I think both would have been great cams.

Seems there are more guys running EPS cams than I've seen dyno sheets/track times for.

You guys need to post up if you haven't.

I've seen 3-4 that were very impressive, and like 2 that were about normal.

Then the poor guy stuck across the pond where the only guy who tunes thinks a/f in the 11s and a stock rev limit are right for a cammed ls1.

LOL Thats great poor guy I hope he had a small cam with that 6200rpm red line. 3-4 impressive and 2 average seems like good results to me. Im sure it will sound meaner then my 224 and make more power so Im sure ill like it. If the F13 sounded a little meaner I prob would have just bought one of them because of there good results though.

This one caught my attention...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...-unlocked.html

I am going to be heavily considering EPS when I get around to porting and installing my 799 heads. Thinking something similar to that one on a tighter lsa would be close to what I want.

Sorry we weren't able to be avalible for you. I dont care to get on here much anymore and Charley is very busy by himself up front. If Pat G speeced out cam you will be happy with it.

But....$25 extra to spec out cam and $10 to roll it? Thats all included in our price
