Custom cam from Futral Or Pat G?
#22
I would contact Cam Motion or stick with Pat G. Geoff at EPS is a nice guy to deal with as well. I would probably just have Pat G spec it and have Cam Motion grind it. I'd also see what cam motion came up with as well.

sorry I wasn't trying to sound like a smart ***. Im waiting to see what futral and Pat g spec out for me then I have to decide which one im gonna go with. I like what I've read about eps lobes and pat g cams but my cousin seems to love his f14 cam so im torn.

Not sure about the lobes, but thats pretty similar to what Cam Motion suggested and ground for me. Mines a 232/238 .595/.595 110+4 and with true duals, it idles and sounds ******* MEAN.

Call Futral Motorsports. Allan or Charlie will galdly help you . They help me with my cam choice and customized it to what works best with my mods. F13 or F14 with a good set of 243's.....great street manners and awesome track performers. It may be a little ol'school tech to most, but it works and works very well .

The choice is yours my friend and I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

The lobe design is the difference.

I have a PatG cam spec'd 226/230 .598”/.600” 112LSA +2 and it's strong all the way to the shift point. After I got it tuned I was shifting from second to third and I thought the clutch was slipping till I felt the rear end slide then I knew it was spinning. These cams make the power and don't skimp on good valve springs.

Mine is from Cam Motion. Its a 232/236 .595/.595 110+4LSA. The only video I have is a short untuned idle/rev clip with open longtubes on my Facebook.

Sound is **** though cause I used my phone and the car was so loud it maxed out the mic and makes it sound like its muffled or something.

order the cam from Geoff and have him run it on his cam pro. .The cams come in larger and spec'd and Pat takes that into consideration when it's spec'd

I plan I having Geoff throw it on his cam pro. how much larger do they measure most of the time?
