Do not torque the oil drain plug, if you do find the factory specified torque spec which is 18 lb/ft.

To do this you take your torque wrench you bought from autozone, attach your 1/2" drive 15mm socket to the wrench. Set the torque to 18 lb/ft.

If you bought an electronic torque wrench you will push the button with the "+" symbol till it reads 18, not 180, but 18. If you have the older style twist then you twist it till you go past the 15 lb/ft mark but stay less than the 20 lb/ft mark.

You then take the wrench and angle it so you can get the 15mm socket around the bolt which has been threaded in by hand. Now go clockwise to tighten and tighten the bolt till it, beeps, clicks, bumps, jumps, or yells. (whatever noise or sound your torque wrench makes) If it makes any of those noises you are done, no more tightening of the bolt is needed.

That's pretty weak, even for someone from the internet's **** hole.
I wasn't making a joke. I was stating a fact.

And I might be from the internet's **** hole but it smells way better than LS1tech and its way more interesting. Why dont you just drive your HurrMaro off a cliff.

let it idle for a minute, if this does not fix it, then you need to take it to a shop. Although you don't trust them, right now I would not trust your work, just being honest man.

Did you mix the first 2 quarts with gasoline? If you didnt, thats your problem. Whenever you do an oil change to an LS1, you need to mix the first two quarts with gasoline to make the oil thicker. Everbody knows this.
