Default 2004 ls1 oil pump,cam swap questions

I have an ls1 out of a 2004 LS1 and had a few questions. I have found through reading here that gm used the ls6 block for this application and looks like the ls6 intake as well, and 241 ls1 heads. I am going to be replacing the cam and was wondering if the oil pump would need to be replaced as I am not sure if it would be a standard ls1 pump or an ls6, not sure if there is a difference or not. It sounds like I will need to replace the timing chain, lifters, pushrods, and valve springs for sure as the stock parts are too weak? While I have the oil pan, timing chain cover, and intake off is there anything else I should consider changing while inside? Motor has 42,000 miles.

From what I've read the oil pumps are the same.
