The patent answer on this site for a good daily driver cam seems to be the Thunder Racing 224 cam (224/224 .563/.563), or something similar.
So thunder racing Trex cam or a ms4 cam is out of the question?

as much as people love the TFS, i wanna see how those heads do on the street. I have yet to see anybody post there cars in action. The only guys i have seen run ridicuoulsy fast with TFS are cars that are not daily driver street cars, but more drag cars. Not bashing, just i have not seen anybody post anything besides dyno numbers considering how much people are quick to say TFS.

Both the PRC & TFS heads move great air & make big power. Here's the key difference that everyone seems to over look. You can purchase PRC 215s with stock piston to valve clearance & a 60cc chamber. If you mill the TFS from the 64 to 60cc chambers you'll have no p/v clearance for larger camshafts. The result is to match PRC heads compression you'll have to cut the pistons with the TFS heads.

The PRC 215s just have better p/v clearance for larger camshafts when you get the compression up.

I have a DD TFS setup. I have had this setup for almost two years. As far as street racing goes, I walked my buddies Patriot Performance LS6 stage II with 226/226 cam (roll race). I ran a GTR on the highway from a 75-135 won by a car length. My setup is in the sig.

Could you define "no" P to V clearance?

The TFS heads have about .050" more P to V than a stock GM head with the same 2.04" valves, so that's a pretty good amount of clearance in my book.

I know lots of guys who have run upper 230's at .050" cams with 59-60 cc TFS heads without issues.

You should not have a problem with any cam you choose.
