PI heads who's running them

flow
Wanting to know how have they worked. For a head that doesnt get mentioned as much as AFR or All Pro the pricing is up their with them and searching finding that their flow numbers look pretty good and they were tested using the small bore 3.90 to others using the bigger 4 inch And I dont want to get hung up on flow bench numbers rather than asking whos running and did they put down some good numbers on chassis dyno or track times.

The PI LXR head is a VERY good head! I have gotten 2 sets of them (1) 235 cathedral that flowed GREAT for a 235 which was right at 340cfm @ .600 on our conservative bench which will be going on my 408ci
Then we also got some of his LS7 275cc runner's that flowed i believe almost 370cfm @ .650 and right at 400cfm @ .900 lift going on a 468ci lsx build.. We will have both of these motor's running very soon and will be able to give u some insight on how it drives (both street cars )
Everyone i have dealt with that has run these heads so far were extatic as to how they performed! And, yes Mast bought out Cary and the heads will now be labeled as MAST..

I have a set as posted above with a cam specc'd by the guys at VA speed. The cam is larger than my TR224, but idles better.
The throttle response and overall power is great. No downsides at all other than price, but you pay to play.
I like the fact that I can take my 215s and have them opened up to a 235 or larger if I decide to go with a bigger cube motor since they all share the same stock casting, at least that's what I was told.

I didn't notice a big drop in price. I paid just over $3000 for heads, cam, springs, and the offset rocker arms. The heads with springs are now $1300 each, so add in a cam, and rocker arms, and there isn't too much difference. A little cheaper, but what can you do.
