needs a new valve, retainer and lock at a minimum
cause?
-bad valve is possible, but im doubting it because that usually happens in batches, and chances are yours all came from the same batch
-incorrect rocker installation/shimming/whatever
-too much lash... possibly valve float
you can see the retainer has rotated... valve float comes to mind, but i dont know how much rotation is "normal"... if any at all...
the damage to the retainer and keepers was caused after it mushroomed the valve.
i have the car towed to a professional with it still assembled and let them check spring pressures, seat pressures, lash, preload etc etc etc so you can find the cause so its not repeated on reassembly.
