I don't have any pics but I am in the process of building a 427 for my 98 T/A.
Using an lsx bowtie block with ohio crankshaft forged crank and rods with mahle pistons, comp cam short race type lifters, custom grind comp cam, and comp roller rockers. Replacing the stock a4 later this winter with a performabuild a4 and also a new 12 bolt rear with suspension mods to get it hooked up.

I went from a full bolt on ls6 setup to a 228/230 and fast 90/90. Also upgraded the fuel pump and did all of the valvetrain. Still using the pull off 243s. Hunting for 10 sec slips.

Second project is my rustang. I hope to get it ripped apart and start fabing the lsx motor mounts and turbo kit.

I'd rather have seasonal changes. 10 months of the year is summer. Its still 90+ degrees and humid as f**K. Talk about going insane.

im dropping my block off today; doing a iron block 408 this winter in my 98 z28. I already have a 4" Compstar Crank, 6.125 H-beam Compstars, with -3cc 4.030 wisecos. Hopefully have the block back by thanksgiving. By that time i will have the $ laid back for a set of TSP CNC Ls3's. I'll see if i can't throw up some pics this evening.

Should be a cool thread...

All the details are not complete, but my project is slowly taking shape . I am going through a complete overhaul! Suspension, rear-end, wheels/tires, brakes and a new bullet (RHS 4XX ) by VSpeed which is currently underway....

Going from a full bolt on car... new cam and springs pushrods etc., some 15in drag wheels, solid motor mounts, some suspension work if money permits and a tune of course (going SD). I will post pics as my build progresses. I already got the hard stuff out of the way with the cam swap being done already

A wallet, two check books and the first born (lol, and I don't even have kids!!), so yeah, a little bit.

To ease "some" of the pain, I started part collecting two months ago in the hope that I have this thing wrapped up when things thaw out up here. Target date to complete is no later than May in order to be ready for Power Tour in June.

I plan on having the tranny rebuilt by tdp, best 680 bucks ill spend, some suspension parts,a set of ported 243s,fast setup, and a 100 shot dry,I just don't know what to do with the block,do you guys have any ideas,I just want it to be durable,I'm not going real crazy with this build but what are some options I can do with the stock block,I just don't wanna get out next year and have something break .in the spring and summer I'm way to busy to work on the car,I mean it took 3 months to finish a cam swap lol
