That looks like a good eps cam..I'm going eps either way and will see what they spec out..I'm staying with the 241 heads I think ill be happy with them also will be using a pacesetter ORY. Thanks john but not exactly what I'm looking for haha..I looked at the ports on the stock manifolds it don't seem worth the time..sound like a good setup aswell let us know how it comes along

why dont you just buy a CTS-V LS6 replacement engine? They run about 3K and you have 405 smog legal HP. I put one in my 2002 M6 Z28 in 2007, it has smogged twice in CA on the tread mill with long tubes, SLP MAF and FAST 78 intake (sanded down and flat blacked). I smog it with the stock LS1 tune and it passes every time. Im putting down about 400rwhp with this set up tuned through a QP 9" with 4:11's.

That's a real nice price for a crate engine...but crate engines are a bit booooring...nothing like a custom-cammed, hp engine that you build yourself...

So just got my specs back from Patrick and want to see what you guys think..226/226 .598/.598 on a 116+4..with my ls2 243s with bowl porting milled .20 running 7.400 rods on gm 02 mls gaskets. He insures me it'll pass and believe him just curious what you guys think of this setup..

If Pat spec'd it, I wouldn't think twice about it. Looks like a pretty health cam...

wtf? First, I read Vette exhaust manifolds WILL NOT work with a Fbody. They just wont clear the K member

Second, How the hell are you running vette manifolds but you also got ported headers

Nice lift on the cam and the duration on the cam, from what I have noticed, is right there at the borderline of legal. But the specs are 116+4 so that would be very instrumental to pass. It'll have a nice healthy idle (for a smog cam) and still provide great torque. With the correct tune, you should be fine.

You will definitely have to run after market valve springs due to the lift of the cam, of course.

I was looking to run the GM HOT CAM for the LS1/LS6. I'm not sure if that damn thing would pass the test though.
