I meant to say ported heads it was a typo ,an the vette manifolds did work with a little modifying to the k member.

Second, How the hell are you running vette manifolds but you also got ported headers
I have Lt Headers now since all the new upgrades , sorry for no correcting that.

Why did you go with the less duration big split cam instead of the 226, is it because youre running Shorties?Pat G spec'd me the same 226-226 .598-.598 on a 115 For my PRC 2.5's and LTs. I know Geoff is the same guy that designed the Thunder Racing 224 so he definitely knows his ****. I had that cam on a 114LS in my 99 H/C SS and it rocked, idled smooth passed smog but ****** ripped from way low rpms to redline and didn't quit. I'm interested to see what these new lobes are gonna run like.

When I bought my car it had a tr224 on a 114, cnc 853's from Diamond Racing (in place of the stock 241s), stock ls6 intake, cai, tb, pulley/ewp and 1-3/4" long-tubes w/ Random tech cats. It put down 410rwhp thru an M6/10 bolt with 3.42s. and passed the sniffer here in CA with the previous owner. Mind you the LT's probably wouldn't have passed the visual anywhere else though so not exactly a 100% "emissions setup".

You think about some Smog legal Shorties? I had em on my SS for the smog ref when I got popped for long tubes . They did make a difference and sounded better. Especially with the 2000+ cat location and SLP Y pipe and FM collector.

Glad you got the 243s and that cam seems perfect for what you're doin'
FYI the cam may take a tad longer than 3wks. depending on sup/demand.
I just got my lil sleeper cam and it was exactly 5 wks. I decided to stay with
my cleaned up manifolds this year and hoping to get my tune next month.
I'm eager to see how close to 400 you get !!!

In for some numbers!

I ordered my PatG spec'd EPS cam last week! I'm not smoggable tho. Milling some 799s to 11:1, EPS 227/230, LS6 intake, and bolt-ons.
