Default LS1 --> LS6 Conversion... Few ?'s

I'm swapping an LS6 into my 2001 T/A. I need to put to rest what other parts I need to make this conversion work. I keep getting varying answers from just about everyone.

What I know (I think) so far that I need swap onto the new crate motor, in addition to the LONG block:

LS1 Oil Pan
LS1 Pickup Tube
LS1 Windage Tray

What else? I know I have the LS6 intake already on my LS1, but would it be worthwhile to upgrade the intake (say FAST 90) because I am going to be putting a mild street-mannered cam into it before I start it up...

There are only small differences between an LS1 and an LS6. Everything that can bolt to one can bolt to another. All your LS1 stuff will go right on it. I would suggest upgrading the PCV system to the LS6 which uses a vented valley cover as opposed to venting off the valve covers. Notice in this pic the valley cover have raised spots and a forward vent. Thats a LS6 valley cover. They can be purchased new for around $100.

Here's the underside of the valley, it acts as a catchcan by keeping the oil inside the engine and not letting it get to the intake, therefor keeping your intake clean and reducing oil consumption.

Sponsors here have them, and a place called Nook and Tranny on ebay sells them.

I was hoping that a sponsor or some vendor would sell a "kit" that encompasses everything that can be changed over... I thought scoggin-dickey had something like that... but I haven't been able to find it on their website.

Haha lord, you're right!! I've been starring at parts lists too long I think....

Again though, I know there are parts like I mentioned in the original post.... I'm pretty sure also that I need the LS1 harmonic balancer....

^^^Well I know I need more than just the balancer... like the parts in the OP.

Do I need the harmonic balancer bolt from the LS1 or from the LS6 to make the LS1 harmonic balancer work?
