Not a bad gain for a $185 cam and $90 in springs. No need to replace the pushrods, especially in an A4.

So, naturally, you got 8-10 rwhp from the pulley install, and about ~30 from the cam. I'm about to install the same (cam/pulley) in the next 3 weeks... Just waiting on the Pulley from TByrne!

The ls-6 cam does have the potential to go over 405 rwhp. Mine did in my SS. It's is aa ls-6 crate engine with bolt-ons. Can't wait for some gmpp cnc ls-6 heads, who nows maybe i'll get to 430 and still have a stock quality engine.

i only dynoed at 325RWHP with this cam and mods listed. but after tuning my car ran surprisingly stronger.so either this cam makes good power under my peak or the dyno was off.either way im happy with my present results.

Does a pulley really add 8 to 10 hp?

I am about to put an LS6 crate engine in my car. Looks like I can easily be right were I want to be with a few bolt-ons and a convertor.

Is it safe to assume that an LS1 upgraded with LS6 heads, LS6 cam and LS6 intake would make the same power as a crate LS6 motor ??

I think the rest of the motor is pretty much the same. Some LS1s are even built with LS6 blocks. My one that just went south on me was an LS1 with an LS6 block.

I am not sure if the crank, rods, and pistons are the same or not. Somewhere I have an article on that - I'll have to find it.
