Default Update on the car and the FMS F4 cam rocks

After two long months of no car and walking to work and bumming rides, I finally got the car up and running again over the weekend I ended up staying with the stock pistons and had the GTP heads upgraded a little and 5 of the bent valves replaced due to a costly miss shift on a 150 shot going into 3rd instead of 5th is a mother. I decided to change out the T1 as well "this cam was awsome" and go with a FMS F4 cam. All I have to say is the F4 cam is pretty damn filth and it even idels with stock tunning
I had C&S bump the rev limiter up to 7K then I was planning on sticking with the HPP3 and seeing how the car would run since it worked great with the T1 but, the damn HPP3 wont download anymore so my only tunning at the moment is the rev limiter at 7k .The car sounds healthy as hell and pulls like a mother
Anyway I was coming home from work tonight and decided to open the biotch up finally and damn the car was pulling like a **** I was in 4th before I knew it. Plus I put a PA K-Member in it and deleted the A/C and took out some other weight as well now she is in the lower 3000 lb range so hopefully it will be able to pick up the 4 tenths I was needing to get in the 10's.
I will be having the tunnig done in the middle of April from C&S then its off to the track

Did you replace the shortblock, or was it only your heads giving you trouble?

Thanks for the short block by the way I ran a leak down on it and it is between 4-7 % which is pretty damn good in my book and oil pressure hits up in the 70's at WOT let me know where to send the oil pan from the motor

Hey Mike still moddin the Hawk. I have short term memory loss from tokin too much. Mike did u get my SLP headers or the HPP? How do u like the cam. U say it idled w/o programming, but how is the lope? I had the G5 & had to get rid of it because of the shake at idle. Get some results for us. Good Luck.

Mike, I'm glad the cam worked out well for you. Let us know how it does when you finally do get it tuned and take it to the track.
